$20,000. That’s the number that’s needed to for the professional fireworks at the Croaker Festival, July 4th weekend. This year the fireworks are Saturday July 4th.It’s all free to see: the parade, pageants, baking contest, regatta… and fireworks.
The fireworks show is big. It gets paid for by donations from folks like you. This year is the 250th anniversary of the USA. That deserves an extraordinary fireworks show, and it’s going to happen. That special show costs a bit more.
Thanks to donations, the fund is now at $8,600. The Croaker folks need around $20,000 to put on the big show. They’re asking for that, and some more – to help reserve the fireworks crew for next year, too.
Total goal: $30,000. All of it goes to pay for Croaker Festival fireworks.
