The roof on a certain garage on South Avenue has held the fascination of one Laura Turgeon. She’s calmer now though – the roof and garage have been drawn.
Frank & Jennifer Roe’s South Avenue home was originally built in 1909. When the Roe’s were restoring it about a decade ago there was a shed – a shed that seemed like it could be a garage. The shed came down, and a new garage was built to appear identical to the century old home it stands next to. The same tile roof, trimmed with tin. While it was built in 2002, the garage definitely feels like it has roots back in 1909.
