bout 20 boats took part in the 26th running of the Neuse Solo Race on October 10th. Top honors this year went to Henry Frazer, on the aptly named Etchells, “Oriental Express” He also won the “D” class.

Winning “A” Class was Mark Weinheimer in the San Juan 21, “Orion”. Mick Roberts took the “B” Class top spot on board the WD Shock 20, “Acapella”. Joe Valinoti and Il Gatto, a Nonsuch 30 won “C” Class.

After the race, the single-handers and friends celebrated at Whittaker Pointe Marina with a Moore’s BBQ dinner.
