Dancing into the Night
Silospalooza 2021June 2, 2021
Heat, humidity, and a whole lot of music. Silospalooza 2021 happened on one of the hottest days in May. However, said organizer Chris Daniels, “I think this is the biggest crowds we’ve ever had.”
Taking a break near the bounce house.Christine Bryon won the raffle for a signed guitar from country music writer & singer Luke Bryan. Sixteen year old Jordan Lockey won the pizza eating contest, by devouring a cheese pizza in 2 minutes and 43 seconds.
From the scene: Silos bartender Michelle Sherman kept the drinks coming while visitors played games and listened to the bands. This year’s lineup had veterans of the Oriental music scene and a few new comers – young musicians from Pamlico County High School who joined The Dust Parade on stage.
