It may be a fishing tournament, but the long lines Saturday night on Hodges Street were for BBQ Pig. Moore’s BBQ catered for the Oriental Rotary Club… over 350 people had a BBQ dinner at ten bucks a plate. But about that fishing tournament.
There are two tournaments, the traditional Tarpon Tournament (this was the 21st) Saturday and Sunday, and the new Inshore Slam Friday (this was the second year for the Slam).
Henry Frazer didn’t catch any tarpon Saturday, but he got two Sunday. That was enough to win the Tarpon Tournament.

- 2nd Place – George Beckwith
