riental’s Provision Company has a new manager: Ben Chapin, taking over for the retiring Pat Stockwell.

Ben comes over from West Marine, where he had worked for a decade.

A warm Provision Company welcome.

He has a long time sailing & boating background – Ben’s dad was the late Wally Chapin, a sailmaker in Oriental for decades. Ben’s grandfather was also a sailmaker (back in Massachusetts).

The Provision Company is open Mon-Sat 9:30 a-5p, Sun 10a-4p.

The Chapin family also has another manager in town – Ben’s bride is Amy Chapin, manager of First Citizen’s Bank.
